Make Changing Lives a Team Effort

Right now, supporters of POW can amplify their impact by making fundraising a team effort on the online fundraising site Crowdrise. Running from Veteran’s Day (11/11) through New Year’s Day (12/31) POW’s Crowdrise Campaign Real People. Real Lives. Real Change makes it possible for supporters and new friends from around the globe to make a real impact on the lives of Veteran, Active-duty Military, and those close to them. We encourage you to share the word about the campaign with friends and loved ones, on social media and of course, to make a contribution.

And to increase your impact exponentially, you can create a POW/Crowdrise Team. How does it work?

A Team leader (that could be anyone, even you) can easily establish a Team on POW’s Crowdrise page. Team members can join at will, and as a bonus, everyone on the Team gets their own Project Page (Crowdrise makes it so quick and easy that you won’t even believe it). Each team member can then upload their own photos and videos and tell a personal story about why they’re part of the Team. The goal is to use your Team to answer the call to service, raise money for POW and have fun while doing it.

Teams are a perfect for veterans associations, Rotary and other social service clubs, school and alumni groups, businesses/employee groups, families and friends of veterans and active-duty military, and individuals who just want to generate support and have fun while doing it.

Teams can also serve as a thoughtful way to acknowledge or commemorate a loved one who served in the armed forces.

Rally the troops, have fund and make a real impact. Put together a Crowdrise fundraising team now.
